The Service took place on 8th June 2014 at The Guild Church of St. Peter, the Church of the Mayor and Corporation of the City.
The Civic Party paraded from the Guildhall along Watergate Street to the Guild Church of St. Peter at the Cross, Chester where they were warmly welcomed. The Guild’s Standard and sword were then presented to Canon Kelly, assisted by the Reader, to be placed in the sanctuary.
